Leah Hammond-Clay, also known by their creative pseudonym "yerathiel," is a non-binary queer photographer and conceptual artist based in Hertfordshire, UK.

Specialising in portrait photography, Leah’s work spans fine art, fashion, and editorial genres, with a strong focus on conceptual storytelling. Their self-portraiture reflects personal experiences and universal themes of identity, mental health, trauma, resilience, and healing. These images are designed to evoke emotion and connection, encouraging viewers to pause and reflect. Leah’s work has been recognised internationally, including an exhibition during Paris Photo Week 2024 alongside artists such as David Lynch and Roger Ballen.

Alongside their conceptual practice, Leah also creates imaginative fashion and editorial work, driven less by the garments themselves and more by a desire to explore visual creativity through photography, Photoshop, and mixed media. These projects allow them to experiment with style, form, and storytelling, showcasing their ability to merge technical skill with artistic vision.

Whether through emotive fine art portraiture or highly stylised editorial imagery, Leah’s work consistently centres on creativity, storytelling, and emotional resonance.
